Most of our baby beardies are around 15cm total length (TL) before heading to their new homes.

This 60 × 45 × 45 cm Reptile One setup is an ideal starter habitat for baby and juvenile bearded dragons. Every item has been carefully selected to provide the correct heating, lighting, and safety needed for healthy growth in the early stages of life.
Temperature is controlled with a thermostat and timer system, allowing you to safely regulate heat while maintaining a consistent day and night cycle. The included radiant heat source can run overnight, helping maintain ambient warmth without disturbing your dragon’s sleep.
Lighting is handled by a 26 W 10% UVB compact globe, which provides a stronger and more effective UV output than 13 W compact bulbs. This ensures your dragon receives the UV exposure needed for proper calcium absorption and bone development.
For young dragons, safety is critical. The enclosure uses a grass mat substrate, eliminating the risk of impaction that can occur with loose substrates while babies are still learning to hunt and feed.
The enclosure also includes essential monitoring tools such as a dual probe thermometer, giving you accurate readings of both basking and cool-side temperatures to ensure the habitat stays within safe ranges.
Inside the enclosure you’ll find natural basking wood, a hide, climbing décor, and feeding accessories, creating an environment that encourages natural behaviour while remaining easy to maintain.
A major advantage of this kit is that many of the components can later be reused when upgrading to a larger enclosure, which most dragons will require in approximately 12–24 months. This means less wasted equipment and a more cost-effective setup long term.
